Refund policy

RETURNS

At Zamindlela, each piece is thoughtfully crafted in collaboration with African artisans. We take great care in ensuring that every item reaches you in excellent condition.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns after this period.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • It must be securely packaged to ensure it reaches us safely

Because many of our pieces are made with intention and care:

  • Custom or made-to-order items cannot be returned
  • The following items are non-returnable:
    • Gift cards
    • Sale items

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you via email.

If your return is approved:

  • Your refund will be processed to your original method of payment
  • Please allow a few business days for the funds to reflect
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, as they form part of the delivery journey from artisan to you

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If your refund has not yet reflected:

  1. Please check your bank account again
  2. Contact your card provider, as processing times may vary
  3. Reach out to your bank, as there may be a delay before the refund is finalised

SALE ITEMS

Items purchased on sale are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds.


CUSTOM ITEMS

Custom pieces are created specifically for you, in collaboration with our artisans.
For this reason, all custom orders are final and cannot be returned or refunded.


EXCHANGES

We will gladly replace items that arrive damaged or defective.
